Culture Exchange & Discovery

For more than five years, our students have travelled across Vietnam, not as tourists but as guests, friends and contributors.

About the programme

Some things can only be learned on the road

Every Tết and every summer, groups of 10–12 young people aged 12–18 set out on a journey of seven to fourteen days. Before they leave, they interview for a place and take part in a day of preparation.

On the road, they plan the budget, shop at the market, cook for the group and lead activities with the communities they visit. They come home more independent, more grateful and more curious about their own country, and many turn their journeys into stories and books.
